Behind The Design

The Big Ass Fan Company (BAFCO) is a US manufacturer of high-volume low-speed fans for industrial, agricultural, commercial and residential use. Their products utilise ground breaking technology to create high quality, aesthetically distinct and extremely energy efficient air movement products.

BAFCO wished to establish a product demonstration centre and office to support their direct distribution strategy and in this regard, they secured space at Level 11 at Park Mall together with a display showcase located at Level 2.

Sennex’s space strategy for the Level 11 space was to create two distinct zones, the customer facing product showroom incorporating a multipurpose presentation and video conference suite and, the office zone which is screened from the public space by the presentation suite.

Big Ass Fans has a very distinct corporate image which was used by the design team to brand the interior spaces and create a welcoming and striking first impression. The final product is a very social space that is comfortable for the staff and one that they are proud to show off, be it customers, or friends and family.
